ABSTRACT:
In an electron gun assembly, three electron beams emitted from cathode are focused by focusing electrodes and directed to accelerating electrodes through intermediate electrode. Three electron beams are converged on a predetermined point near a screen by accelerating electrodes. The accelerating electrodes are supplied with a first potential and are connected to a ground through a resistor and a stem pin. The intermediate electrodes are connected to the resistor and are maintained at a second potential. The focusing electrodes are connected to another stem pin and supplied with a third potential through another stem pin so that the third potential can be independently adjusted.
