ABSTRACT:
An electrographic recording medium comprising a conductive layer coated on a support such as of paper and overcoated with a dielectric layer. The conductive layer contains fine particles of an n-type metal oxide semiconductor, preferably a whitish or lightly colored one such as SnO.sub.2, In.sub.2 O.sub.3 or ZnO, dispersed in a binder which may be either a nonconductive polymer or a polyelectrolyte. This recording medium is excellent in recording characteristics and particularly advantageous in its usefullness over a wide humidity range containing very low relative humidities.
