ABSTRACT:
An electroceramic component includes a base body, contact layers on the base body, a dielectric layer in the base body that includes a single-phase perovskite ceramic having a composition of Ag(Nb1-xTax)O3, and an electrode layer in the base body containing a precious metal. The electrode layer is sintered with the dielectric layer.
