ABSTRACT:
Wastepaper containing printing ink is refined in the presence of the reaction products of epoxidized derivatives of C.sub.10 -C.sub.22 carboxylic acids with alkoxylated carbohydrate-derived polyols and the detached printing ink particles are subsequently removed from the paper stock suspensions by flotation or washing.
