ABSTRACT:
A Controller20sends to a Consumer40a command for reserving a plug/port in order to send/receive data using an Asynchronous transmission (Step211) and receives information on a port connecting from the Consumer40(Step212). The Controller20further sends to a Producer30a command for reserving a port/plug for sending content or the like (Step213) and receives from the Producer30information on a Producer plug/port used for transmission (Step214). After this, the Controller20notifies the Consumer40of the information on the port of the Producer30(Step215) and receives a response from the Consumer40(Step216). Next, the Consumer40issues a device authentication request command to the Producer30(Step219) and they perform mutual device authentication and exchange of keys (Step217).
