ABSTRACT:
In the manufacture of creped tissue products, the adhesion between the tissue sheet and the creping cylinder can be increased by applying one component of an adhesive complex to the sheet and another component of an adhesive complex to the creping cylinder. When the two components are brought into contact at the pressure roll nip, an adhesive complex is formed which adheres the sheet to the creping cylinder.
