ABSTRACT:
A controlling agent for fabric pest insects characterized by containing, as an active ingredient, a carboxylic acid ester represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents an allyl or propargyl group, Y represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and when Y is a hydrogen atom, X represents an isobutenyl, 2,2-difluorovinyl or 2-chloro-2-fluorovinyl group, and when Y is a methyl group, X represents a methyl group.
