A silane compound having the following formula, wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each monovalent hydrocarbon radicals having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2: ##STR1## which is manufactured by reacting 1-allyl-.epsilon.-caprolactam of the following formula: ##STR2## with a hydrogen silane of the following formula:
