ABSTRACT:
There is provided a blend of poly(p-methylstyrene) with small amounts of poly (C.sub.2 -C.sub.4) olefin, olefin copolymer or SBR. The blend can be formed into shaped articles, such as food containers, which can be crosslinked by irradiation at low doses. Such articles are resistant to microwave oven conditions.
