ABSTRACT:
Benzylpyrimidines of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, independently, are C.sub.1-3 -alkyl, and R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, independently, are hydrogen or methyl,
and physiologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, are described. The compounds of formula I are useful as antibacterial agents and as potentiators of sulfonamides.
