An extra-wide ceiling panel and ceiling constructed therefrom characterized by a reinforcing member extending along the back surface thereof, the member being generally flat with negligible vertical extension so as not to interfere with the stacking of such panels. Means are provided for further reinforcing the member with a beam characterized by extending generally perpendicular to the reinforcing member.
