ABSTRACT:
A method of controlling base transceiver stations in a telecommunications system and a telecommunications system which comprises one or more base transceiver stations (BTS1, BTS2, BTS3) and an object model representing elements of the telecommunications system, by means of which object model the elements are controlled. The object model comprises a cell object (CELL) which represents one or more base station objects (BTSO1, BTSO2, BTSO3), and the telecommunications system is arranged to control the base station objects, represented by the cell object, via the cell object such that the operation performed on the cell object will be performed simultaneously in all base station objects, represented by the cell object, where said operation can be performed.
