ABSTRACT:
The present invention is concerned with new cardenolide acetals of the general formula: ##SPC1##
Wherein R.sub.1 is an unsubstituted or substituted glycosyl radical and Ar is an unsubstituted or substituted aryl or heteroaryl radical and with the preparation thereof. These compounds exert a positive inotropic action on the cardiac muscle of mammals.
