ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for the continuous steaming of natural and/or synthetic material including textile material or man-made fiber material, e.g. staple fibers, endless material and also synthetic fibers, webs, bonds, yarns and the like, comprising at least one housing shaped similarly to a bell, i.e. a housing formed into a chamber closed all around and open in the downward direction toward a mounting surface, steam producing means and/or steam feeding means being provided in the zone of the sidewalls within said housing; and at least one conveying means for the fibrous material which extends from below into the housing and extends out of the housing again at the bottom thereof.
