ABSTRACT:
An apparatus for controlling an AC-motor, with a feedback arrangement in which the feed-back signal is the output signal of a partly mechanical pulse generator coupled to the shaft of the motor, comprising a micro-processor to which is fed a feed-back signal and a reference signal and a digital clock which sends output signals to said micro-processor, said micro-processor generating signals through a first set of output controls for controlling the frequency and phase of the AC-power supplied to the motor by comparing the reference signal and the arrival times of the feed-back pulses as indicated by the digital clock.
