ABSTRACT:
An improved apparatus for guiding a tool in a linear path relative to a work piece, and method of manufacture thereof, including a means for supporting the work piece, a transverse tool carrying member supported above the work piece and perpendicularily across a plurality of collinear tracks, one of said tracks being a precisely aligned master track and the remainder of the collinear tracks being follower tracks made from an epoxy material which is poured and permitted to harden into a horizontal track surface on which the transverse tool carrying member is rollingly supported.
