ABSTRACT:
An apparatus and a method for enhancing a telephone call quality of a facsimile system with a wireless telephone function. The telephone call quality enhancing apparatus comprises a wireless circuit controller operative as a master for controlling the wireless circuit to perform the wireless telephone function, a facsimile circuit controller operative as a slave for controlling the facsimile circuit to perform the facsimile function, and a power switch for supplying power to the facsimile circuit controller and the facsimile circuit under control of the wireless circuit controller only when the facsimile function is performed. The facsimile system with the wireless telephone function according to the present invention has an improved telephone call distance and an enhanced telephone call quality as compared with a conventional facsimile system with a wireless telephone function.
