ABSTRACT:
A sodium chloride or potassium chloride laser window is rendered anti-reftive by depositing, in order, an As.sub.2 Se.sub.3 layer, a NaF layer and an As.sub.2 Se.sub.3 layer. Near optimum thicknesses to permit transmission of light having wavelengths in the range of from 1 to 12 micrometers are disclosed.
