ABSTRACT:
Titanium dioxide pigment of anatase crystal structure containing 0.05 to 0.3% Nb.sub.2 O.sub.5, 0.4 to 0.6% K.sub.2 O, 0.8 to 1.2% Sb.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.2 to 0.4% P.sub.2 O.sub.5 and the balance substantially TiO.sub.2 ; the particles of said pigment having a surface coating of hydrous metal oxide, such as alumina. Such pigment is useful as a delustrant in synthetic fibers, such as cellulose acetate.
