ABSTRACT:
The 7-methoxy-3-heterocyclic thiomethyl cephalosporin derivative possessing excellent antimicrobial activity represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents ##STR2## group or HOOC-- group, R.sup.2 represents a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group, and M represents a hydrogen atom or a cation residue forming a salt.
