1-Hydroxy-2,2,2-trichloroethane-thionophosphonic acid dialkyl esters of the formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sub.1 each independently is an alkyl radical with 1 to 4 carbon atoms,
which possess arthropodicidal properties.
