ABSTRACT:
A light (58, 120) having a first parabolic reflecting surface (62, 122) and a second parabolic reflecting surface (60, 122) joined to the first surface at an angle (62) greater than about 90 degrees. The reflecting surfaces have linear vertexes (130, 132) and focal points (66, 64, 126, 128) which extend along a line parallel to the vertexes. A single elongated gas discharge tube (74) is located substantially coincident with the focal points of the reflecting surfaces. Preferably, the light has third and fourth reflecting surfaces (78, 79, 140, 146) which are angled relative to the first and second reflecting surfaces, and an integral bracket (162) for supporting a different type of light.
