A method of machining a crankshaft using a machine tool arrangement having a cutting insert comprising a first plurality of cutting teeth comprising a rounded cutting tooth being disposed at the intersection of a first contoured side surface and a first planar side surface; and second plurality of cutting teeth comprising a rounded, corner cutting tooth being disposed at the intersection of said second contoured side surface and a second planar side surface.
