ABSTRACT:
A computer array100including a field of processors101-124each processor having a separate memory. The processors101-124are connected to their immediate neighbors with links200. Several configurations of the links are described including differing types of data lines210and control lines215. Along lines215Process Command Words (PCW) to initiate processing tasks and Routing Connection Words (RCW) to initiate routing tasks pass between the processors101-124to provide a method for altering the mode of hybrid processors107-118in the array.
