ABSTRACT:
A fin produced from thick sheet-metal and having a pattern reproduced in a general direction in accordance with a geometric pitch such that the ratio of the minimum thickness of the sheet-metal to the geometric pitch is greater than 0.2. The fin is obtained either by a hot-extrusion operation or by a material-removing machining operation.
