The present invention comprises a CHA110which transmits/receives data to/from an external device, a DKA140which transmits/receives data to/from an HDD unit200, a primary cache unit120which has a primary cache memory124, a secondary cache unit130which is installed between the primary cache unit120and the DKA140and has a secondary cache memory134, a CCP121which stores write target data received by the CHA110in the primary cache memory124, and a CCP131which stores the write target data in the secondary cache memory134, and transfers the write target data stored in the secondary cache memory134to the DKA140.
