ABSTRACT:
An interrupt control system is provided in a computer having a processor, a PCI bus, an ISA bus, and a serial transfer line. An interrupt controller outputs interrupt requests to the processor according to the priority levels of signals received from the PCI bus and the ISA bus. Interrupt signals supplied to the interrupt controller from the PCI bus and ISA bus are mapped to a level appropriate for the interrupt controller.
