ABSTRACT:
The invention is the combination of (i) a self-adhesive bandage having opposed adhesive-coated end portions and a centralized sterile pad, and (ii) a package housing that self-adhesive bandage. The package has a rearward side and a forward side. At least the forward side has a weakened transverse line disposed off-center from the sterile pad portion of the self-adhesive bandage. When the package is pulled axially from gripping locations on opposite sides of the weakened transverse line, the forward side of the package separates at the weakened transverse line, thereby exposing the sterile pad and one adhesive-coated end portion of the self-adhesive bandage.
