ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a dispersant for removing petroleum and petroleum products from the surface of water basins.
Said dispersant comprises an aqueous solution of a surfactant, viz. a mixture of salts of phosphoric acid esters and hydroxyethylated higher aliphatic alcohols of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is an alkyl radical of a normal or iso- structure containing 7 to 12 carbon atoms;
