ABSTRACT:
The invention is related to a golf club shaft with improved distribution of flexibility. It includes a tubular section whose flexional rigidity evolves according to the length and has several portions, including a rigid upper portion extending from the upper end of the shaft having the largest diameter, having a length (L1) at least equal to 200 mm and whose flexional rigidity is at least equal to 50 N.multidot.m.sup.2 ; a central portion joined to the other end of upper portion having a length (L2); a lower portion joined to central portion, having a length (L3) and extending to the lower end adapted to receive the club head; the central portion being constituted of a flexible zone of a length between 100 and 300 mm of a remaining zone having a flexional rigidity greater or equal to 50 N.multidot.m.sup.2.
