ABSTRACT:
Novel thermoplastic adhesive components prepared from polyoxyethylene diamines, dimer acids and dicarboxylic acids having a wide range of predictable softening points depending upon the molar ratio of the components. Especially interesting products are synthesized employing JEFFAMINE.RTM. EDR-148 and JEFFAMINE.RTM. EDR-192 produced by Texaco Chemical Co. The adhesives can be used as self adhesive materials or as tackifiers for other adhesives.
