ABSTRACT:
Finely particulate 1,4-diketopyrrolo 3,4-c!pyrroles of formula ##STR1## wherein A is a radical of formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 is 3-CN, 4-CN or ##STR3## in which at least 84% of the pigment particles have a Stokes equivalent diameter of .ltoreq.0.40 .mu.m.
These pigments are distinguished by exceptional purity of shade, transparency, high gloss, good dispersibility and good rheology.
