ABSTRACT:
When images are repeatedly recorded on a recording medium such as a single sheet of paper, the length of the second image to be recorded is varied dependent on the shrinkage factor of the recording medium which is derived from the period of time in which the recording medium is left from the time when the recording of the first image is completed to the time when the second image starts to be recorded. Positional deviation or size difference between the images which would otherwise be caused by the shrinkage of the recording medium upon repetitive image recording can be eliminated.
