ABSTRACT:
A phenol resin molding compound which comprises phenol resin, a curing agent for the phenol resin, hydrogenated NBR, chopped strands of glass fibers and powdery glass fibers having a length of about 10 to about 200 .mu.m has a considerably improved elongation and an elevated safely factor from cracking without any substantial lowering of the modulus of tensile elasticity.
