ABSTRACT:
A bone gripping pincers for osteosynthetic purposes has a swivel joint (1) that can be locked, a minimum of two jaws (2, 3) and a minimum of two legs (4, 5). After bone fragments have been set by means of the bone gripping pincers, its swivel joint (1) can be locked, so that it can act as a permanent bone clamp. The legs (4, 5) can be removed. By a connection pin (9) mounted on the pincers, it is possible to combine several bone pincers into a stable osteosynthetic setting device.
