ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to the compounds having the structures I and II: ##STR1## The invention also relates to a method of making the compound having the structure I by mixing 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol; dimethyl carbonate; and a basic catalyst, and heating the mixture.
