ABSTRACT:
To avoid freezing out of ethylene carbonate from a mixture of the carbonate and at least one alkyl diester, such as ethylene diacetate, the mixture is "well mixed" at an elevated temperature between the melting point of the carbonate and the denaturing point of the mixture for a predetermined time. The product can be cooled to at least about 32.degree. F. (0.degree. C.) without the formation of carbonate crystals.
