ABSTRACT:
A yellow color forming photographic coupler represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Q represents an aliphatic group, an alicyclic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group; Y represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an alicyclic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group; R represents a divalent aliphatic group, a divalent alicyclic group, a divalent aromatic group or a divalent heterocyclic group; and Z represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a nitrogen atom substituted with an electron attracting group.
