ABSTRACT:
A photoconductor for electrophotography comprising a novel hydrazone compound or derivative as a charge transporting substance. A hydrazone compound is represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein, each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 stands for a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxy group, a nitro group, an allyl group, or an aryl group which may have a substituent(s) or an amino group which may have a substitutent(s); and n stands for an integer of 0, 1 or 2.
