ABSTRACT:
A process for the preparation of a compound according to claim 1, comprising reacting a compound of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each independently is CH.sub.3 or CH.sub.2 Cl, at least one of the radicals R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 being CH.sub.2 Cl,
with a metal fluoride at elevated temperature. The products are new and useful as intermediates for making other compounds, especially carbamate insecticide synergists.
