ABSTRACT:
Novel thiobis-2,6-disubstituted phenols are described which are useful as monomers in the synthesis of polycarbonates, polyesters, epoxy resins, among many others chemicals synthesized from polyhydric phenols. In addition, the thiobisphenols are also useful as antioxidants.
