ABSTRACT:
Process for the continuous dyeing of textile material made of cellulose fibers or their mixtures with synthetic fibers in the form of endless ropes by developing water-insoluble azo dyestuffs on the fiber, which comprises impregnating the textile material at first with the alkaline bottoming bath by means of a Venturi tube or a system of Venturi tubes and then, optionally after intermediate rinsing or dwelling, treating the textile material with the acidic developing liquor and aftertreating and finishing it in the usual manner.
