ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described, which comprises a support having thereon at least one layer comprising a silver halide emulsion containing tabular silver halide particles wherein at least 50% of the total projected area of silver halide particles contained in the silver halide emulsion in said at least one layer is occupied by the tabular silver halide particles having an average aspect ratio of 5:1 or more, and wherein said silver halide emulsion contains a compound represented by general formula (I) or (II): ##STR1## wherein a is an integer of 1 to 8;
