ABSTRACT:
New derivatives of S.sub.P - and R.sub.P -configures cyclic guanosine-3',5'-phosphorothioates and their physiologically and pharmaceutically acceptable salts according to the general formula ##STR1## are cell membrane permeable inhibitors (R.sub.P -isomers) and stimulators (S.sub.P -isomers) of cyclic GMP-dependent protein kinase which are resistant against phosphodiesterase degradation and suitable as ligands for affinity chromatography of cyclic nucleotide-dependent binding proteins.
