ABSTRACT:
The present invention concerns a process for a thin sheet molding of a thermoplastic resin easily and economically and also the thin oriented sheet molding prepared by such a process. Its specific feature resides in the steps of lubricating the inner surface of die, laying over one another thermoplastic resin blanks while being not adhered to each other in a die, compressing the layered structure at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin blanks and separating the oriented molded products from each other.
