ABSTRACT:
Several embodiments of rear wheel suspension systems for motorcycles wherein the leaf spring is employed that is contained within the suspension arm so as to be protected and yet facilitate servicing. The spring is loaded so as to provide a progressive rate and various damper arrangements are also disclosed employing either rotary or tubular-type dampers.
