ABSTRACT:
An oilwell tubing tester for the in-place pressure-testing of oilwell tubing strings for leaks, utilizes a flapper valve, a valve seat, a three-piece sealing mechanism, and a sliding J-mandrel located inside the tester housing in abutting relationship with the flapper valve.
