ABSTRACT:
Solid solutions consisting of at least two different compounds of the formula I ##STR1## in which A is one of the groups ##STR2## in which R and R.sup.1 independently of one another are hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, X is halogen, Y and Z independently of one another are halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkylmercapto, C.sub.5 -C.sub.6 cycloalkoxy, phenoxy which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, wherein the compounds of the formula I which form the solid solutions differ in at least one of the substituents X, Y or Z and/or in the group A and the X-ray diffraction patterns of the solid solutions differ from the sum of the X-ray diffraction patterns of the individual components.
This type of solid solution is highly suitable for use as pigments for the dyeing of high-molecular-weight organic material.
