ABSTRACT:
A biofeedback system provides measurement of bioelectric signals in up to about a 1 hertz window of particular bandwidths. A bioelectric signal is amplified by a preamplifier. The composite amplitude of the signal is determined by performing a fast Fourier transform on the amplified signal. Particular bandwidths can be displayed and monitored on a computer. The display permits training of the person being monitored with audio or verbal feedback.
