Thermoplastic copolyester-carbonate resins are described, having included in their polymer chains, a moiety of the formula: ##STR1## wherein a and b are each whole number integers of from 0 to 1; and the sum of a+b is 1.
The resins are useful intermediates for branched or cross-linked molding compositions.
